You will find the Norwex mop is super easy to use and very lightweight! No heavy bucket of water required. Just wet the mop pad under the tap, wring it out and off you go! Our basic mop system from many many years ago now has lots of different options and add-ons.

Check out my video of me cleaning my kitchen floor! This video is from back in 2018, way before the spray mop attachment was released. I got my mop in 2015 (for FREE as part of the host rewards program) and it is still going strong almost 9 years later as I update this blog post.
Click on the following link to a LIVE video I did on Facebook which explains the mop system in more details :) https://www.facebook.com/PennyClaphamNorwexIndependentConsultant/videos/1462162471404357
WHICH MOP PADS?
There are a few different pads and we understand it can be difficult to work out which pad to use for what... so we have come up with a handy little table to help you with your selection.

Dry Pads Vs Wet Pads:
Something I must mention, the Dry Pad is NOT for "drying your floor after you mop" - some people get a little confused with that ;)
The Dry Pad is for Sweeping! Unless you are like me and prefer to vacuum first and then just wet mop. I personally don't use the dry pads very often, but I have many customers who do and love them.
When you buy a mop system which includes a dry pad, it comes with a rubber brush which is used to clean the dry pad.
My favourite mop pad is the tile one (the zig zag bits are little bit rough), it's used wet for mopping my floor and my patio ceiling (see photo below).

Where do I start with my decision?
The main questions I ask people when they want to buy a mop is...
Do you intend to dry sweep or do you prefer to vacuum?
What kind of flooring do you have? Eg high gloss tiles, textured tiles, timber flooring etc. This is so I can help determine (using the table above) which pads will work best.
Do you want the spray mop attachment?
Small or Big? Small is great for Caravans or if you just have a small space to mop.
Walls & Ceilings & Skirting Boards?
Yes! You can clean so much more than your floor with this mop! Here is my patio ceiling, it came up a treat! When cleaning walls and ceilings simply "LOCK" the base so it doesn't swivel.

To clean skirting boards or kick boards simply offset the mop pad to one side and flip the overhanging pad up against the wall.

So... How can you get one in your home?

Spray Mop Attachment!
Released in January 2022 is our Spray Mop Attachment. Even if you have a Norwex mop from 10 years ago this attachment will just click in to your existing mop (in between the base and handle).
Other tips:
The ball on the end of the mop handle can be used to remove scuff marks off the floor!
Adjust the mop to chin height for the most ergonomic use.
Lock the mop base when cleaning walls or ceiling to prevent the figure 8 motion
Telescopic Mop handle and mop base is interchangeable with the Hand Held Cleaning system, EnviroWand, Rubber Broom & Hand Held Squeegee System.
If you feel like you can't just use water and need some kind of smell you might like to consider our Probiotic Hard Surface Cleaner. I personally add a bit of Odour Eliminator to my spray mop attachment.
Depending on how large your floor area is and how hot it is, you may need to re-wet your mop pad half way through. If you don't have the spray mop attachment you can simply run the pad under the tap or spritz the pad with a spray bottle of water.

Trouble shooting your new mop...
If you find your new mop is "sticking" or "flipping" I suggest you try the following:
It's possible your floor has a chemical residue build up from previous mop products used. If this is the case, keep persevering, after 5-10 water only mops you should see an improvement as that reside is removed.
When wet mopping try using less OR more water. You might have to experiment to see what works best for you.
Keep in mind a high humidity climate may make the dry mop pad "stick" or "flip".
It can take a bit of time to get used to a new mop, especially if it's quite different to the last one you had. If you are having problems I suggest you experiment and play around with the angle at which you are mopping and how much pressure you are applying when mopping. A little tweak here may make a big difference.
Some people find the Spray Mop Attachment is a little finicky. I've had a few people think theirs is faulty, but once they get the knack of it its all good. Basically it needs to be straight up and down to work. Please reach out if you need help and I can send you a video.
If you have tried all of the above and are still not happy please contact me as Norwex has a 60 day satisfaction guarantee where you can return the mop for a refund.
